Hello my name is Michelle. I am the artist and creator behind Riverblue Designs.

I have a love for nature and being outdoors. One of my favorite things is going for walks and spending time with nature through our four seasons in Manitoba. Whether it's a beautiful sunny day or cloudy and gray, there is so much beauty in nature all around us, all you have to do is take the time to appreciate it.

The inspiration behind Riverblue Designs began while spending time outdoors with our beautiful Golden Retrievers, River & Blue.
In my pursuit of staying warm and comfortable on our outdoor walks, I started creating my own hand knit modern knitwear accessories.

This was the foundation for Riverblue Designs.

My knitting is an exploration of color and texture as each wool fibre is transformed from a strand gliding through my fingers, across my needles, and emerges as a beautiful piece that is as unique as I am.

The possibilities for creativity are endless when exploring the art of knitting. Each piece that I knit is functional, modern and wearable.

My passion for knitting continues to inspire me each day creating unique pieces using a timeless craft.
